The Supreme Court Hears a Case that Could Impact the Lives of Over 120,000 Missouri Women
On March 4, 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court heard the case of King v. Burwell. If a core component of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is overturned, in Missouri alone, over 120,000 women could lose their health insurance subsidies. Nationally, 4.1 million women in 34 states could immediately lose subsidies, making their coverage unaffordable.

International Women’s Day
“Human rights are women’s rights, and women’s rights are human rights.”
Twenty years ago, at the 1995 World Conference on Women in Beijing, governments made a promise to women, and solidified the concept that so-called “women’s rights” are about much more than women.
This International Women’s Day, we stand strong with our fierce allies in shaping the most diverse movement for women’s rights yet. Want to join us? Tell your senator to support the Global Democracy Promotion Act, which would benefit women and families around the world by ending the global gag rule.
